Is SpenzaPay secure?

Security is at the heart of the SpenzaPay platform. By utilizing banking-standard, 128-bit encryption, along with randomized transaction tokenization, you can rest assured that when you are using SpenzaPay you know that we went above and beyond to ensure that your information is kept completely secure end-to-end. As an added layer of protection, we also have independent IT security experts monitoring the security of the SpenzaPay app 24/7.

How do I sign up for SpenzaPay?

  1. Go to your device’s app store.
  2. Search for and Download the SpenzaPay application.
  3. Follow the enrollment process: enter your email address, create a username and password.
  4. Go to your email to retrieve the verification code.
  5. Return to the SpenzaPay app to enter the verification code.
  6. Add cards to the app.

How do I add multiple cards to my mobile account?

  1. Tap the “+” next to Cards in the homescreen.
  2. Add the Card Detail Information. Tap Add card.
Note: Prepaid only allows the Primary Cardholder to add the card. Joint Cardholders can be added under Manage Alerts so as to receive alerts on the Prepaid card.

How do I manage my account information?

To manage your account, go to your User Profile under Settings to edit your password, email addresses and mobile phone numbers.

How long before the SpenzaPay app times out?

For security purposes, SpenzaPay will timeout after 3 minutes of inactivity; the session will expire and will require you to log in again.

Will the SpenzaPay app work on my iPod, iPad, or tablet?

SpenzaPay is a mobile-optimized application. This means that while SpenzaPay does run on tablets, the ideal SpenzaPay experience is meant to be accessed via an Android or iOS smartphone or iPod Touch.

How do I make a payment on my cards?

Navigate to the card you would like to use for the transaction and select the money button. An action menu will appear for you to take action on the card you selected. Actions may vary for different cards.

What are the SpenzaPay app alerts?

Alerts are notifications the SpenzaPay app sends you regarding activity on your card to help you stay in control of your finances and keep your account safe from overdrafts and fraud. You can configure to receive alerts via text, e-mail, or push alerts* on your digital device. *Note: Push Alerts are only available to users that have an Android OS 3.0 or higher, iPhone OS 6.0 and have downloaded the digital application. PUSH alerts are only available for Debit cards.

Where can I manage my alerts?

You can manage your alerts, including how you want to receive your alerts, within your application on your digital phone or in the Alerts feature in the application or from the website.

What if I lose my card?

You will need to delete the lost card from the app and add the details for the replacement card. If a transaction is performed using your old card number your bank will decline the transaction and FI digital Product Name by FI will automatically remove the card from the app.
